This Sloan chart features two smaller groups of optotypes for repetitive testing. The use of the two groups helps to minimize unwanted memorization during testing, while still allowing more definitive test results. Memorization while testing can severely compromise the entire test and cause inaccurate results and recordings. For in depth vision testing, multiple charts are recommended for reduced memorization possibilities.
