Eye chart can be wall-mounted
The use of three similar vision charts with different combinations of optotypes during the sight exam of one patient is a common practice. Each chart is used for a record of each eye separately and the two together (i.e. right eye, left eye, both). By using 3 separate charts, the chance of memorization is significantly decreased. Further, without memorization, more accurate results can be recorded, leading to a more accurate diagnosis.
