HOTV optotypes are used for testing pediatrics between the ages of 3 and 5 years old. These optotypes are designed to be easily recognizable and easily teachable to children. The use of the response key during testing creates an easier test with more precise recordings. This presentation book also features crowding lines or bars. These bars help detect any problems with foveal vision in children, such as Amblyopia.
