Contrast Sensitivity tests are highly calibrated and are recommended with the use of the Illuminator cabinet. The cabinet provides a continuous retro-illumination. This illumination creates the exact contrast level that is being tested and gives the patient a constant and accurate contrast vision test. Without the Illuminator cabinet, contrast levels would not be as accurate.
