Suitable for use in clinical settings.
Contrast Sensitivity testing is important for the early detection of vision/ contrast sensitivity loss due to diseases such as Diabetes, Glaucoma, Parkinson’s Disease, Ocular Hypertension and changes post-LASIK surgery. Also, with the use of PV Numbers, contrast sensitivity testing can be administered in countries that are not familiar with the Roman alphabet. With larger populations being tested for contrast sensitivity on a regular basis, standards and protocols will improve along with patients’ sight.
